The journey of learning to work with our brains isn't typically linear! We're most likely to learn in a "spiral" pattern; to be introduced to strategies and then move on to other tools before we've mastered these. Later, we revisit these same strategies or skills, and each time we do, we deepen our knowledge and experience.
The process spiral learning can leave us doubting our progress (or even feeling like we're "failing") since we are working on several different areas gradually, but eventually we reinforce these skills enough to gain traction.
Although the path isn't linear, when we embrace this flexible "spiral learning" approach, we develop a toolkit that can help us make real changes in our lives!
