How is ADHD coaching different than general life coaching?
Like all coaches, ADHD coaches support their clients in self-discovery. ADHD coaches also have specialized training and experience that can help their clients create the unique strategies, support, and structure that works for their brains.
What if I'm not officially diagnosed?
My main focus as an executive function coach is on function. Although many of my clients have an ADHD diagnosis, others don't.

If you feel stuck or in need of support because of your executive functioning skills (difficulty with starting/completing tasks, breaking tasks into manageable steps, organization, working memory, emotional regulation, time management, impulsivity, regulating attention, etc.), then I may be able to help.
What is your coaching style?
I have a down to earth style and bring humor and compassion to my sessions. Typically, I do more listening than talking. Sometimes I may encourage you to shift your mindset about something or challenge you to try something new. I'm committed to creating a safe, no-shame space for you to take those kind of risks.
Do you specialize in working with women?
I do. My specialty is working with women who have been diagnosed in adulthood (this includes any individual who identifies as female).

If that's not you, but you believe that we would be a good fit, please reach out. All people are welcome here. If I'm not the right fit for you, I'm happy to refer you to someone who may be.
Does insurance cover coaching?
Typically, no. Some employers may cover partial or even the full cost of coaching fees- it is definitely worth exploring with your employer if this might be a possibility for you. HSAs can offset some of the cost of coaching as well.
What are your fees?
Since I value transparency, I choose to list my fees on my website. My coaching fees vary with the length of commitment to coaching and are listed in the Coaching Plans section.

I offer all new clients a free, no obligation discovery call. This allows clients to get a good sense of my coaching style and determine if we are a good fit before moving forward. You can schedule that call below.
What if I'm not sure if coaching is for me or if you're the right coach for me?
If you're still gathering information, I'm happy to chat with you. You might not know whether coaching is the right next step for you or what you're looking for in a coach.

You can schedule a free consult below and I'll help you get the information you need to make the right decision for you. You can also listen to my podcast ADHD Crash Course (on my website or Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Stitcher) to get a sense of my approach.
What can I expect during our discovery call?
Once you schedule your call, I'll email you a few questions to help me get to know you. Please send me your answers before our call. During our call, I'll ask questions that help me learn more about you and what you need.

This is also your time to ask me any questions about coaching with me, my background, or coaching in general. If we're a good fit, I'll let you know the ways that we can work together, but you won't be asked to make any decisions during our call.
Do you have a question that wasn't answered here? Please feel free to contact me so I can answer it for you!
