How do I know if you're the right coach for me?
Fit is important when it comes to coaching.

There are a few ways you can learn more about my approach to decide if it's right for you:

How will we meet for coaching calls?
Coaching calls are offered via audio call or video call depending on your preference. In person coaching calls aren't available at this time.
How do I prepare for our sessions?
Each week you'll choose a topic for our call. 

That can be a specific situation: 
I'd like to plan for a specific work project/ deadline. 

Or a broader topic:
I need tools for overwhelm that work for me.

At the beginning of our call, we'll clarify exactly what you want to take away from our time together and then we'll jump in!

But what if I choose the wrong topic to coach on?
If you’re concerned that you won’t pick the “right” direction for a call, please take that pressure off of yourself!

1. Most of the topics we explore will be interrelated. 

For example:
  • Emotional regulation can impact time management
  • Black and white thinking might complicate your ability to prioritize
  • Overwhelm can tank your motivation, etc.
Many roads can lead you to where you want to go!

2. You're not tied to your topic. 
If during the coaching call you discover that you have a different priority, we'll pivot.


Ideas to help you get the most out your coaching calls
1. Come to our calls with a clear idea of what you'd like to take away from that session. 
Don't overthink this- you won't get it wrong (see above).

2. Commit to self compassion and curiosity. 
This isn't easy for most of my clients. I can help. It’s also not for the purpose of being “nice”. It's strategic. Self criticism shuts down creativity and problem solving.

3. Be willing to try new approaches and experiment.  

4. Set aside time to celebrate your wins.

5. Be willing to fail. 
You'll learn a lot from what doesn't go well if you stay curious.

6. Take advantage of the accountability options I offer. 
There’s no "right" way to do this. The purpose is help keep what we're working on fresh in your mind and support your problem solving in between our sessions.

7. Offer me honest feedback about what's working, what's not, and what you need. 
I'm not here to be right, I'm here to help you discover your answers!
What types of accountability/ support do you offer?
Every client is different- what’s supportive to one client might feel overwhelming or even oppressive to another. 

For that reason, we'll work on learning what works for you.  

Here are some ideas:

  • Use space in your private client vault to journal about your progress or to record what you'll explore for our next coaching call.
  • Text me updates! I offer unlimited text/email support between sessions and I'll respond to both within my business hours.
  • Ask me to send you a timed text during the week to check in with you
